To be here is just an incredible wonderful experience. A place full of bliss and beauty. It is really difficult to find words to describe how perfect this resort has been naturally placed into nature - every step you take you will make a new amazing discovery ( flowers and plants in the huge garden, subtle carefully crafted details in the extremely well designed buildings and especially the true kindness in all the people that work here). I want to express my deep gratitude to everybody in this place. The treatments are fantastic and very effective. The food is excellent! and the rooms are perfectly clean. Many thanks to the well trained doctors, especially Dr. Auga. It is not only the profound experience and excellent knowledge that she transmitted but the love she poured out and the way she deeply understood me that contributed to my healing. It is a blessing to be here. I certainly will come back!

We spent two weeks in Bethsaida Hermitage back in February - enjoying every single moment of our stay . We are repeaters ... this was actually my 12th time to be back - it really" feels like coming home .." The hotel has the best location on the Malabar coast with a stunning view of the Arabian Sea. Excellent Ayurvedic doctors, therapists, treatments , holistic approach . Relaxing setting , well maintained lush green environment , two big pools . Very friendly , dedicated, respectful staff . Beautiful restaurant , helpful waiters . Thank you ! We will be back in 2025.

As soon as you walk through the gates, you are met with birdsong and the sound of waves lapping on the private Sandy Beach, it is like walking into the garden of Eden, with ornate paths that wind through the tropical gardens. I really don’t think that the photos on the website do this beautiful haven real justice. The staff are friendly, courteous and obliging, and although I initially had some teething problems relating to Booking.com, they were more than fair and efficient. The restaurant serves either à la cart (non-vegetarian) or a vegetarian buffet which is amongst the nicest vegetarian food I have tasted, despite the emphasis being on health. The Ayurvedic treatments are 2nd to none, carried out by experienced, therapists, and even for the most stressed travellers, they leave you feeling, totally relaxed and rejuvenated. Next time I am in Southern India, I will be certain to book to stay again.

Very well-kept resort, beautiful, rich-enough food variety and with professional handling and staff, as expected for this price level. Principal focus on the Ayurveda clinic&treatments &diet which take center stage. Lovely and Relaxing! Only side notes are minor things like: large shipping port being constructed disturbing the sea view; the yoga teacher good but hard to follow since instructions are sung; limited sights /excursions nearby; initial down payment cannot be done via credit card so expensive international bank transfer needed. Guests were mostly Russian and German on our visit.

We have just booked flights to Kerala and are planning to stay at the Bethsaida again so I realised I had forgotten to write a review after our last trip! We are repeat guests because it is consistently the loveliest place we have visited in India- and we have stayed in many places over the decades of our travels in this amazing country. The Bethsaida feels exactly as it claims- like coming home. The rooms are lovely: airy, clean and comfortable, the staff are welcoming and kind, the food delicious, the grounds are beautiful and the lovely beach is so close. The resort is even better than the website photos. We don't go for the Ayurveda packages but last time decided to have appointments with the doctor and booked a series of excellent massages. Highly recommended. We felt much improved. We can't recommend this resort highly enough and are counting the days down to our return in April :-)
